Upper Limb

Our hands and legs are the main tools, without which existence is almost next to difficult, but the people who are born without an arm or hand, and the ones which experience an upper limb /extremity amputation, they are mostly missing with a limb and faces a lot in their daily living. Prostheses are mainly projected to re-establish and normalize the functions of the missing body part.

Designing the appropriate prosthesis for the individual patient is a collaborative effort between the patient, prosthetist, physician, and often physical therapist.

Shoulder

Prosthetic solutions for patients with amputation through or above the shoulder joint. Continuing advances in technology provide these patients with a highly functional prosthesis.

Above the Elbow

Individualized care for patients with amputation through the elbow joint or bone of the upper arm. Bionic offers everything from passive, cosmetic options to computerized, integrated systems.

Below the Elbow

Prosthetic solutions for patients with amputation through the long bones of the forearm. Numerous componentry options can restore patients’ fine motor skills.

Hand & Partial Hand

Solutions for patients with amputation through the wrist or hand. Bionic offers lightweight, highly cosmetic devices which can restore the patient’s wrist and hand function as closely as possible to their ability prior to amputation.

Silicone Restoration

Silicone restoration replicates the patient’s intact limb in fine detail such as wrinkles, hair, freckles, skin tone and shape.

Lower limb

Lower extremity prostheses offer limb restoration to patients at all lower limb levels, ranging from amputation through the pelvis or hip joint down to partial foot amputations. The goal of lower extremity prostheses is to restore the limb and return gross motor function, allowing patients to walk again.

Below are the different types of Prosthesis

Hip

Highly personalized and innovative design for patients having amputation through the hip joint or through the pelvis. These patients require replacement of all three lower extremity joints (hip, knee, ankle/foot) to optimize walking and reduce energy expenditure.

Above the Knee

Personalized prosthetic care for patients with amputation through the thigh bone or knee joint. Bionic offers functional, energy efficient and cosmetic lower extremity prostheses allowing patients to stand and walk again.

Below the Knee

Prosthetic care for patients with an amputation through the bones of the lower leg. Below knee prosthetic users exhibit little to no deficit with a well-designed, well fit BK prosthesis.

Foot & Partial Foot

Partial foot prostheses restore the functional lever arm of the foot and improve patient cosmesis.

Silicone Restoration

Silicone restoration replicates the patient’s intact limb in fine detail such as wrinkles, hair, freckles, skin tone and shape.
